Entry Details

Who can be nominated?

You can nominate any member of staff or team for any of the awards. All staff, permanent, casual or UCrew volunteers, are eligible for nomination.

Are there any exclusions?
Yes, the scheme only relates to UoN Services staff and UCrew.

When can I make a nomination?
Nominations can be made at any time during the year. Once a nomination is submitted, it will automatically be put forward to the next short listing round. There will be one event in December to celebrate these achievements.

What do I need to say?
All nominations need to show how the individual or team meets the judging criteria in no more than 300 words. Any document you wish to enter as part of the nomination (e.g. any relevant photos, letters, charts, graphs) can be attached.

What will happen to my nomination?
If you make a nomination you will receive an email of acknowledgement and the person or team being nominated will also be notified to ensure that they are happy for the nomination to proceed.

All the nominations received as part of each round will be considered by an independent judging panel, drawn from within UoN Services. The judges will use the criteria described in the judging criteria section in order to judge the award winners.

What will happen at the award dinner?
All nominees will be invited to the award dinner.  The ceremony should last a couple of hours and will include the presentations as well as provide an opportunity for members of the judging panel and UoNS Board and Management Team to meet the nominees.

What do ESIS awards consist of?
All nominated staff will receive a card of recognition and achievement signed by both the Chief Executive Officer and Campus Life Manager.  Additionally, the winners from each category will receive a gift voucher.
