O Week
This year, O Week kicks off on Monday the 25th of February and finishes with a bang at O Party on Friday the 1st of March!
O Week is the week to learn all about university life! Not only are there helpful academic seminars so you can learn about your degree, but the U put on heaps of events and activities for you to learn about the other side of university life.
There is the O Week Expo in the Brennan Room, where all the University sporting and social clubs, Newcastle bars, different University support services and other awesome services set up stalls for you to peruse! The different clubs are a great way to meet new people and there is always a whole heap of free stuff to grab from the stalls!
Not only is there the O Week Expo! We put on comedy nights, free entertainment, barbeques, massive inflatables and even markets.

O Week ends with O Party at Bar on the Hill. With both international and Australian bands and DJ acts having played O Party in the past, it's a must-attend! Meet new people, have a few beverages from the bar and cut some rug with your new classmates!
